As doctor’s offices transition to electronic health records, more patient data can be accessed faster. But manually entering that information into a computer can make the work performed by nurses and clinic staff members seem more like that of a data entry clerk.
So when Integris’ Dr. Tanya Livingston saw a new product at a trade show in Nashville, Tenn., she said she literally stopped in her tracks. Oklahoma City-based PatientLink® has developed software that takes scanned data from a patient form and automatically enters it into the computer.
